Construction Law, Commercial Litigation, Mechanics Liens, Real Estate Litigation, Landlord-Tenant Disputes, and More

I am attorney Michael W. Kelly and my practice focuses on construction law, mechanics liens, and other litigation involving real estate and small businesses.

Whether pursuing or defending my clients’ interests, I take a proactive approach in identifying my clients’ needs, identifying potential problems, assessing potential outcomes and intelligently pursuing my clients’ goals. If a client is looking for an attorney experienced in resolving disputes involving their small business, real estate, or construction project, I can help.

I founded my Illinois law firm in 2009. The office is located in downtown Chicago near the Daley Center. Normal office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Competitive and Flexible Billing Plans

My goal is to provide high-quality yet cost-effective legal services for my clients. Unlike some firms, my hourly fees correlate to specific work products – I don’t charge clients for merely thinking about their cases; neither do I bill them for every time I pick up the phone.

I offer flexible billing structures tailored to my clients’ individual needs and my different areas of practice.

Arrangements may include:

– Competitive hourly rates
– Contingency fees
– Flat fees
– Transactional fees
– Rates and billing proportional to amounts at stake
